As it’s the first post of the New Year, we thought we ought to make it exciting. So we are pleased to say that it’s not often the sport and beauty worlds collide, but when Olympic star Geraint Thomas decided to pop into the Trevor Sorbie Covent Garden salon, we just had to let you know!

Olympic Medal holder Geraint won Gold in Beijing 2008 in the Team Pursuit, and was awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2009 New Year’s Honours List. In 2010, he became part of Team Sky which has seen him take part in many more events, including the Tour De France for the second time. Before setting off to compete in the Tour Down Under next week, we were very glad he could squeeze in time for a cut. Here’s a few pictures of Geraint enjoying the Trevor Sorbie salon experience.
